Welcome to our Girl Rats page!

Here you will find bios and picture galleries of the mama rats in our breeding lines. These rats are not for sale as pets but our hope is that you'll enjoy these profiles of the mothers of our litters. Scroll down to get to meet our breeding line of rats!

Do you feel like you're ready to adopt a rat from Bentley Critters? Please take a moment to click the below button and complete our Rat Adoption Application which will open in a new tab.

Rat Adoption Application

Flower

Meet Flower, our female Black Berkshire Silvermane Dumbo Rat. Flower is as pretty as her name. In full transparency, Flower does not smell as pretty as her name! Thankfully, that does not change the fact that she is a sweet, sweet rat and a wonderful mama to her babies!

image367

Harli

Meet Harli, our female Odd Eye Blazed Siamese Velveteen Dumbo Rat. Never heard of an "Odd Eye" rat? Well, zoom in on her picture... I'll bet your first response is, "That's Odd! Her eye..." and then you'll trail off... and then you'll understand.

Shirley

Meet Shirley, our female Pearl Blazed Berkshire Velveteen Dumbo Rat. Due to her colors, Shirley's coat is underappreciated at a glance. But when you hold her in your hands and see her up close, she is a sight! She's crazy!

image369

Maybelline

Meet Maybelline, our female Black Variegated Lighting Blaze Harley Dumbo Rat. There's no question about it - she WAS born with it! Maybelline has it all - the looks AND the personality! We are so excited to see her grow up!

image370

Meg

Meet Meg, our female Mink High White Berkshire Velveteen Dumbo Rat. We are so looking forward to watching Meg grow and develop and perhaps one day add some babies to our Adoptions page!

image371

Gypsy

Meet Gypsy, our female Black Silvermane Berkshire Dumbo Rat. Gypsy is a very sweet rat who is most importantly a wonderful mama rat in our rattery.

image372

Squirrel

Meet Squirrel, our female Agouti Berkshire Dumbo Rat. Squirrel is named thusly because she never stops and is as spastic as a wild squirrel!

image373

Aspen

Meet Aspen, our female Agouti Marten Berkshire Dumbo Rat. Aspen is a great granddaughter of Hammie and that's where she gets her Marten gene but spend some time with her and you'll notice that she also has her great grandma's sweet demeanor and loving nature. She will soon be an addition to our breeding line and we are excited to see her babies!

image374

Mona Lisa

Meet Mona Lisa, our female Russian Blue Marten Top Ear Rat. Mona Lisa is a great granddaughter of our very own retirees, Hammie and Jerry!

image375

Garlic

Meet Garlic, our female Russian Blue Point Siamese Velveteen Dumbo Rat. Oh my, that is more than a mouthful! We can't even do a proper acronym with all of those consonants - RBPSVDR? Nah, just doesn't work! Garlic is a founding member of our Spice Girl Rats! Is that pretentious? We don't think so.

image376

Nutmeg

Meet Nutmeg, our Female Russian Dove Variegated Dumbo Rat. Nutmeg is a founding member of our Spice Girl Rats. It's also fitting since we also thought it an appropriately nutty name for her.

image377

Cinnamon

Meet Cinnamon, our Female Russian Dove Berkshire Dumbo Rat. Cinnamon is also a founding member of our Spice Girl Rats, in case you weren't certain of that!

image378

Isabella

Meet Isabella, our Female Russian Blue Berkshire Velveteen Dumbo Rat. Her coat is just so beautiful and we are so excited to see what beautiful babies she adds to our Rattery!

image379

Hammie Hamilton Bentley

Meet Hammie Hamilton Bentley, our female Hooded Marten Rat. Hammie is quite possibly the sweetest rat that I, and YOU, are likely to ever meet! She is so docile and easy going. She is especially gentle with our kids who are 4 and 6 years old. She is also a very attentive and responsible mother to all of her babies. Though Hammie is now retired from our breeding line, she is our furever Mama in our Rattery.

image380

Noodle

Meet Noodle, our female Agouti rat with Berkshire markings. Noodle is one of the most affectionate rats that we've yet had! She loves giving kisses and licks while cuddling. Her coat color is just gorgeous! Noodle is now retired from our breeding line and now plays the role of baby rat-sitter!

image381

Rainy

Meet Rainy, our female Black Hooded Rat. Rainy is another of our females who is super affectionate and an avid cuddler! Rainy had trouble with a pregnancy and had to undergo an emergency surgery in order to save her life! During this surgery, she was also spayed in order to help her health. She is obviously retired from breeding and is officially Grandma Rainy in our Rattery!
